ZILKER POINT

Welcome to the Healthiest Building in Austin.

Zilker Point was designed from the ground up with employee health and wellness in mind, even before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 195,000-sf office development is located at the heart of Austin, where South Lamar meets Lady Bird Lake. It is surrounded by the best of Austin, everything that makes the city a destination for tourists, transplants, and companies alike.

Additionally, it's at the center of an emerging arts district in Austin. The project will share a courtyard and patio with the ZACH Theatre and is surrounded by the Palmer Events Center, Zilker Park (home to ACL Music Festival), The Long Center for the Performing Arts, and more. Plus, the building will house the DORF art studio on the ground floor.

The value proposition is clear, the only problem? The building doesn't exist yet. How do we communicate this message and make the opportunity exceedingly clear to both local and national tenants and brokers?

To meet the challenge, I enlisted a team of agencies and influencers for this branding and marketing campaign.

First, I selected Misfit Brands to lead the project branding, collateral design and website development. Misfit has a passion for telling excellent stories. There's a lot to be communicated about this project, and they would be able to capture that in every piece of the collateral, from the iconography and design to the copywriting and voice.

For the renderings and video, I engaged Kilograph, a Los Angeles firm with a knack for crafting dynamic and engaging property videos.

Additionally, we engaged two influencers to help us tell the story of Zilker Point through video and lifestyle photography:

  • Jules Acree (Om and the City): Jules is an Austin-based wellness blogger who recently relocated from New York City. Who better to talk about the value of wellness in the workplace and the well-lifestyle that can be achieved in this part of the city?

  • Jen Pinkston (The Effortless Chic): Jen is a native Austinite and local entrepreneur who lives the essential Austin lifestyle. We tapped into her authority as an area expert to communicate the lifestyle that can be found at the doorstep to Zilker Point.

I worked with my team to coordinate all of these efforts, and we successfully launched the marketing campaign for this project in the summer of 2020, in coordination with the achievement of final permitting from the City.
